Review of the 2016 vintage included below;

"97 Points. Blood plum, currant and anise scents are sheathed in a smooth veneer of detailed, gravelly and yet, impeccably massaged tannins. Together with juicy acidity, these serve as a welcome signpost to the fruit while conferring authority and a welcome savouriness. The finish is long and saline, laying bay leaf and strewn herb across the gums while expanding the flavours across the palate. This is a fine, highly refined cabernet with compelling vinosity and sap. Sue Hodder is a cabernet wunderkind with wines firmly stamped with a regional footprint. Screwcap. 13.5% alc. To 2038. $35 - Ned Goodwin, Halliday Wine Companion 2019.
