Another exceptional example of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir, the 2018 Shaw and Smith Pinot Noir has a concentrated core of red berry fruits including raspberries and cherries. Vibrant and slightly more opulent than recent vintages of this wine, the 2018 Shaw and Smith Pinot Noir will again delight the many fans of this wine.

Reviews of the 2017 vintage included below;

"For pure pleasure this wine has it going on. No demands; all delivery. Cherry-plum and indeed macerated berries in general, though these flavours are delivered minus the attitude; it’s not a surly wine, its cheerful. Spice notes, creamy oak, violets and musk. There’s a subtle sweetness to the fruit, almost a raspberried character, but it’s threaded with spice. It’s varietal. It’s refreshing. It’s not deep but it’s not too light. Dum-de-dum. You can almost hear it whistling while it works. Rated: 93 Points Tasted: Oct18 Alcohol: 13.5% Price: $47 Closure: Screwcap Drink: 2019 - 2024+" - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.

"This fine pinot noir has 12.5% alcohol, ruby hues and scents of violets. The front palate has lifted raspberry flavor, the middle palate Morello cherry, spearmint, cloves and supple vanillin oak and the finish flinty tannins. Try it with roast duck. 4.5 Stars" - John Lewis, Northside Chronicle Canberra, 27 November 2018.

Delicate, fragrant, light to medium bodied but with deceptive power, firm tannins and medium term ageing potential. Light red. Bright nose, really fragrant – juicy cranberries, cinnamon and bergamot. On the palate there is lots of rhubarb and earl grey tea on top of a savoury core – cured meats, stem, sap, and spice. Nice acid cut and grippy tannins.
