Pedestal Wines are made by Larry Cherubino; one of Western Australia's most acclaimed winemakers. The Pedestal name was given due to the elevation of the Margaret River vineyard where fruit was initially sourced to create these wines.

Showcasing the best of the Margaret River region. “The idea was to use varieties for which the region is famous, and to make wines that were definitively Margaret River in style.” Pedestal wines are made purely from Margaret River fruit. Being a large wine-growing region stretching more than 100km from north to south, Margaret River offers great diversity in soil and micro-climates. Our Pedestal range takes advantage of this, to create wines that typify what Margaret River does best.

In general terms, Northern Margaret River is better suited to red wines with its slightly warmer Indian Ocean influence whereas southern Margaret River is better suited to whites due to the cooling influence of the Southern Ocean breeze.
