Reviews of the 2015 vintage included below;

"The Horgan family, who founded Leeuwin Estate in 1974, are famous for not doing anything by halves. Their Art Series wines represent some of the finest of Margaret River and this is not only outstanding, it offers very decent value when compared with its rivals from Bordeaux. It is a classic Western Australian cabernet with dark currant and berry flavours front and centre of both nose and palate with some tobacco leaf notes and an intense core. There is 97% cabernet and 3% malbec. A wine of style and substance. History suggests this well cellar brilliantly. $70"- Winsor Dobbin, winsorschoice.blogspot.com.

"... a sleek, red-fruited, beauty. It is already in liquid velvet mode with smooth, plummy Cabernet working its magic in the glass. This vintage tastes like they have uprooted the Cabernet vines and dropped them into the Chardonnay vineyards for one vintage only! It is so silky and tempting and this is another wine which echoes the beauty found on its stunning label designed by Helen Eager."- Matthew Jukes, Matthew Jukes 100 Best Australian Wines 2019/20.

Deep, dark and black core of fruit centred upon currants, blueberries, dark cherries and cassis. Black cardamom, nutmeg, tobacco, cumin and well-integrated oak surround and support an incredibly rich dense nose.
