A Gold medal winner at both the 2016 Royal Melbourne Wine Show and 2016 National Wine Show of Australia, the 2015 Bleasdale Bremerview Shiraz is a sensational drinking Langhorne Creek Shiraz that is sure to attract plenty of interest at this discounted price.

“95 Points. Destemmed, 15% whole berries, open-fermented, 12 days on skins, matured in French oak (15% new) for 12 months. A masterful play between luscious Langhorne Creek fruit and a spicy, savoury finish. A medium-bodied shiraz that holds interest from the first sip to the finish and aftertaste of the last sip. It’s a needle stuck in the groove to comment on the dizzying value for money. Screwcap. 14% alc. To 2030. Top Value" - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion 2018.

"Our Bremerview Shiraz pays homage to Frank Potts’ system of locks and weirs, constructed in the 1850’s and 60’s along the River Bremer, to capture winter floodwaters and irrigate vines. This long standing and robust system for controlling floodwater occasionally comes into use when rainfall is high and the river flows breach the established floodbank. An expressive, medium to full bodied wine showing intense lifted dark berry fruits and spice. The palate is vibrant with dense blackberry and fresh plum flavours complemented by liquorice and pepper spice." - Bleasdale Wines

Established in 1850 by Frank Potts, Bleasdale is one of Australia's most historically significant wineries, which in 2015 celebrated an incredible 165 years of continuous winemaking by the direct descendants of the founding Potts family.

One of the stars of the Langhorne Creek wine region, the impressive range of wines are made by Paul Hotker; who was the recent recipient of 'Winemaker Of The Year' in Halliday Wine Companion 2018.

The philosophy of the Bleasdale winemaking team is to capture the essence of what makes Langhorne Creek red wines so attractive - vibrancy, harmony and texture. Cabernet Sauvignon has elegance and captivating depth of flavour, Shiraz is a ripe fruit style with refined cool climate spice elements and Malbec is perfumed and finely structured.
