Reviews of the 2018 vintage included below;

"90 Points. Estate-grown petit verdot was night-harvested, destemmed, crushed and drained to tank. Pale, bright magenta announces a juicy array of red cherry and pomegranate flavours. The mouthfeel and balance are nigh on perfect. Price when Tasted: $21.00 Date when Tasted: 25 Oct 2018 Alcohol: 12.5% Drink By: 2022" - James Halliday,

"An air of floral and candied fruit wafts from the glass. Petit Verdot's bright perfume unmistakable here. Has a fullness of body, yet a chalky dryness to it. A creamy vanilla Broulee character comes before a gentle line of acidity, tugging the wine along with it. Gentle, persistent length. 90 Points. Price: $15 Alcohol: 12.5% Closure: Screwcap" - Stuart Robinson,

Alkoomi Wines is one of the pioneering wineries of Western Australia's Frankland River; a region that has claims to being the most remote wine producing area in the world.

2019 was made from Shiraz harvested in the early morning hours. The fruit was destemmed and crushed into the press and immediately drained to tank in order to attain the desired colour and flavour profile. After cold settling and fermentation, the wine was left on yeast lees for 8 weeks before bottling.

Vintage: Excellent growing conditions were cut short due to a late frost event which resulted in a considerable reduction in yield.

Colour: Brilliant pale salmon pink with hues of onion skin.

Palate: Flavours of blood orange, carried by a savoury textural mouthfeel with a clean bright acidity.

Cellaring: Ready to enjoy now.
