Three Drops Riesling 2017

3 Drops Great Southern Riesling 2018

Great Southern, Western Australia   |    750ml   |    12%

Western Australia's Great Southern is home to some of Australia's best Rieslings and winemaker Robert Diletti can take plenty of credit for this. Diletti makes top class Rieslings at Castle Rock, along with Poacher's Ridge, Abbey Creek and 3 Drops among others.

The 2018 vintage of 3 Drops Riesling is another classic example of Great Southern Riesling; a fine, delicate structure defines this wine with lime juice and floral flavours giving the front palate a generosity and richness. The natural acidity runs the length of the palate providing the structure, drive and balance to the wine.

"95 Points. Purity and intensity are the keywords for this beautiful riesling, a blast of lime sherbet intermingling with the acidity that underwrites its long term future. Its class right here and now is reflected in its gold medal from the Melbourne Wine Awards '18. $26. 13% alc. Drink By 2033 Screwcap" - James Halliday,
Halliday Winemaker Of The Year - Robert Dileti

3 Drops Wine began with a family farm and a vision- a vision to produce premium wines and extra virgin olive oil whilst maintaining the integrity of the land for generations to come. Southwest of Mount Barker in the heart of the acclaimed Great Southern wine region of Western Australia, vines and olive trees flourish side by side in the cool, pristine climate.

Italian, Greek and Spanish varieties of olive trees thrive alongside the vines. The name 3drops was chosen to reflect the attributes of three precious liquids wine, olive oil and water, with both the vineyard and olive grove carefully irrigated from a large wetland on the property. The melding of time honoured tradition, passion and sensibility with contemporary techniques and the latest technology, enables 3drops to produce wines with distinctive varietal and regional characters.
