As Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station has long been recognised for it's high quality cool-climate wines. This 2015 Yering Station Village Pinot Noir is another beautifully aromatic, classic Yarra Valley Pinot Noir showing plenty red and black cherry notes complimented by appealing earthy undertones and subtle savoury spice. At this limited time discounted price it offers exceptional value Pinot drinking.

"Add this one to the no-brainer list. It’s pretty smart drinking. You’d be happy with this for just about any occasion. It’s all sweet-sour cherry and cranberry with enough spice and undergrowth-like flavour to make it feel like the real McCoy. It’s generally satiny - helped along by smoky oak - but there’s a shoot of dry tannin reaching back through the wine. There’s no need to decant or anything like that; it’s ready-to-rip immediately on opening. Rated: 92 Points Tasted: Dec.16 Alcohol: 13% Price: $24 Closure: Screwcap Drink: 2016 - 2021" - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.
