The 2012 Mitolo Jester Sangiovese Rosé is a vibrant, dry style rose which oozes aromas of red berry compote and fresh cut herbs, with a luscious palate of strawberries and cream. The Sangiovese grapes are carefully harvested by hand and the following day, destemmed, crushed and pressed immediately off skins. The resulting wine is fresh, bright and textured, yet bone dry, making it a wonderful accompaniment with food, or equally a fantastic refreshing drink on a sunny afternoon!

"Pale and dry. Streaky strawberry notes with a keen herbal edge. Fresh. Zesty. Cherried. Dry, chewy finish. It needs a couple more months in bottle to settle properly but I like the way this is shaping up. Good option this summer.
