The name 'LTC' is so clearly etched in the history of Pierro and the Margaret River wine industry, that the front label now refers to it as merely as the LTC. It was once the 'Les Trois Cuvées' - for the three varieties found in the blend; Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay while others insist LTC refers to a 'little touch of chardonnay'.

"Mike Peterkin was the pioneer of this style which is now arguably the most important WA wine style because of its ability to deliver across various price points good honest, reliable drinking. As often as not, these wines are drunk soon after release yet this is the perfect example of why it is better to hold onto it for a little while. In the few months since I first tasted it, this wine has settled down and is drinking even better. The wine is largely Semillon and sauvignon blanc but the light touch of chardonnay does make an important difference on the palate adding texture and richness.
