A tightly defined backbone of pure lemon acidity reflects quality fruit sources, led by chardonnay (forty-five percent). There's only a small proportion of reserve wines here (ten to twenty percent) but the blend has spent three years on lees, developing layers of biscuity, toasty, roast almond complexity that contribute richness, length and depth.
