Located just 70 kilometers north-east of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley is widely regarded as the heartland of Australian wine. This region has helped showcase Australian wine to the world, with its bold, flavoursome Shiraz leading the charge.

A must visit destination for any Australian wine lover, in October 2008 the Barossa Valley was listed alongside the likes of Bordeaux and Tuscany as one of the world 's top 10 wine destinations by the world’s largest online travel community, TripAdvisor.

With a rich winemaking heritage dating back to 1842, the region has always had a strong German influence, with the likes of Henschke, Glaetzer, Schultz, Hahn and Kalleske, amongst the more famous winemaking names in the region today.

Whilst Barossa Valley has a long winemaking history, the region is also home to a vibrant bunch of ‘next generation’ winemakers. With a deep understanding of the Barossa and some of the oldest vines in the world at their disposal, the future of the Barossa is in safe hands.
