Oakdene Sparkling Brut NV
Oakdene vineyard is located in Wallington (near Ocean Grove) on the Bellarine Peninsula, approximately 20kms east of Geelong and 90kms South of Melbourne. The region enjoys a cool, maritime climate moderating our weather patterns, resulting in a long cool growing season; producing low yields of high quality fruit.
The Oakdene wines are produced from fruit produced by its vineyards, and made by wineries chosen for the proven winemaking expertise and achievements of their winemakers. Ray Nadeson of Lethbridge Wines, makes the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and the base wines for the vintage Sparkling and Robin Brockett of Scotchmans Hill; makes the non vintage Sparkling base and Sauvignon Blanc based wines.
Oakdene wines are made in small quantities, from excellent quality fruit, produced in low yields using meticulous vine management and crafted by proven winemakers. The wines are elegant, complex and reflect the true varietal character of the region.
