It speaks of a sort of honesty and loyalty to tradition, and the crowd-pleasing wine within doesn't disappoint. It's dense and deep, with a nose of jammy berries, spices, gum trees and subtle oak that's ripe and attractive. There's a generous, traditional dry-red personality to it; it's plump, smooth and soft in tannin to help it slip down seamlessly.
