How long will my order take to be delivered?
Most east coast Australia areas are serviced within five business days of ordering. Delivery to regional locations and Western Australia are likely to take a couple of days longer. We will notify you of any extended delays expected on orders you have placed. If you wish to enquire about specific time frames or the status of your order, please contact us.
How will my order be shipped ?
All wine orders placed via the Auscellardoor website and delivered via Hunter Express or Australia Post or. If you have a preference please note this in the 'Delivery Instructions' box on the order details page, and every attempt will be made to ship via this method.
How much will delivery cost ?
Wine orders of $200+ or of 12 bottles or more are delivered freight free throughout most metropolitan areas of Australia. Orders of less than $200 or twelve bottles attract a delivery fee of $10.
Additional delivery surcharges apply to some areas, regardless of the value or quantity ordered. These include Queensland Country, Tasmania ($10/dozen), Perth ($15/ dozen), WA Country ($20/ dozen) and Northern Territory ($45/ dozen). Please note wine orders of less than twelve bottles to these areas will attract the one dozen surcharge price.
What happens if no-one is home to home to receive the wine?
You may authorise our couriers to leave your order in the absence of anyone being available to receive the delivery. This can be detailed in the ‘Delivery Instructions’ section on the order details page. Please note neither Hunter Express nor Australia Post will phone prior to delivery.
If no one is home to receive the order, a calling card will be left outlining they have attempted delivery. In the case of Australia Post, orders will usually be available for collection from the nearest Post Office. Orders shipped via Hunter Express are usually available for collection from their nearest depot, or in most cases an alternate delivery time can be arranged by contacting Hunter Express.
What if my wine is damaged upon delivery?
Although we take care in ensuring all orders are packed appropriately, breakages do occasionally occur during transit. Auscellardoor is committed to ensuring that all breakages are replaced in a timely manner. If you do receive a delivery that is damaged please let us know as soon as possible by phoning us on 1800 088 022 or email us here
