Lake Breeze is one of Australia’s leading small wineries with an enviable reputation for producing outstanding wines. A classic Australian blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, Lake Breeze 'Bernoota' is consistently rated one of the best value reds around.

The newly released 2009 Lake Breeze Bernoota is once again in fine form, taking out a gold medal and trophy of 'Best Wine $20 and Under' at the 2011 Great Australian Red Competition.

"93 Points Bernoota has been a silver medal winner in The Great Australian Red for years and this year it claimed its first trophy as the best entry under $20. Eucalypt overlays a palate of intense and deep blueberry and black cherry fruit. Drink: 2016-2021."- Tyson Stelzer, www.tysonstelzer.com.

"4.5 out of 5 stars - A cut above One of the all time regular red bargains, this Langhorne Creek blend is a shapely, little wine, bright and fleshy with trademark cabernet aromatics followed by shiraz fruit richness, the tannins easily handled and finishing with a positive drive and energy. It just scored a trophy in the Great Australian Blend."- Tony Love, www.taste.com.au.

"Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet - tried and true, and still good. Right in the groove. Blackcurrant, plum, eucalypt and smoky, malty oak. Feels juicy and smooth. Highly slurpable. Not a hair out of place. Lovely Aussie red. Rated: 91 Points Alcohol: 14.5% Closure: Screwcap Drink: 2012 - 2017" - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.

"Bernoota was the original name given to the homestead on the Lake Breeze property - it is an Aboriginal name for camp among the gum trees. The 2009 Bernoota is a blend of Shiraz (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), carefully selected from old vines on the Follett family vineyard."- Lake Breeze Wines.
