Greg and Natalie Flynn spent 18 months searching for their property, 13 km north of the Heathcote township. Lewis Road, the location of Flynns Winery is the site of one of the earliest vineyard plantings on the famous ancient Cambrian soils of the Heathcote region. The Flynn's utilise traditional wine making methods to produce this wine, including small open fermenters, hand basket pressing and 10 months in French and American oak barriques.

Aroma: Ripe cherry, lifted floral, subtle oak and mild floral notes
Palate: Cherry, spiciness, medium bodied, rounded tannins smooth finish
Winemaking: This wine was made using open fermenters, basket press and maturing in new American oak and older oak barrels for 12 months.
Alc 13.5% Cellaring approximately 3 years.
